 The U.S. Census Bureau recognizes the East African Community as a valued partner and offers appreciation for their support in raising awareness of and inspiring participation in the 2010 Census.

Their efforts to help achieve a complete and accurate census count have made a lasting impact on the nation.

The award was given by Dr. Robert M. Groves - Director, U.S. Census Bureau





On November 13, 2010, Asad was a featured speaker at the L.E.A.P. (Leaders Engaging in Action through Passion) Summit.  The L.E.A.P. Summit is a leadership conference hosted by the University of Northern Colorado Center for Honors, Scholars, and Leadership.  This year's summit was designed to teach emerging leaders concepts of cultural sustainability in Arts, Business, Education, and Environment and the role played by agencies and organizations.
